blog revamps and maintenance

Rei ~ Peace ~ Gundam SEED DestinyYes, ‘Tis I, Rei who never updates xDD I pwn you all <333 Hmmm... as the title has already mentioned, I did a(n) (almost) thorough revamp through out Deep Forest. My blog themes and I had World War IV (The third was when I was coding EDR's fourth skin xDDD), and I triumph over it o_____O mwahahahaha I fixed most of the misaligned properties through out the blog, and I want to let everyone know that you should use Firefox when browsing the site mainly because I coded the entire thing in Firefox, and I am sure it doesn’t look as good in IE as it does in FF. Just for random reminder, upgrade your FF today =) Speaking of upgrading and Firefox, I thought a little conspiracy would be fun… FireFox Myths. They’re all true, and it does make you wonder whether switching to FF was the right thing. It tempted me to switch to Opera, but never back to IE. I’ve upgraded my Wordpress; the new version of blog has a lot of security patches after the Bug Hunt on July 4th. If you’re still using the old one, might as well upgrade now =)
I had a dream two nights ago, and until today, it still irks me. So what happened in the dream?

It was the day of the badminton tournament (Not last year’s because I’m playing as a single player), and the worst thing for a badminton player to imagine happened! What was it? I forgot my racquet TT________TT -sniffs- Next thing I knew was heading to my locker; apparently in the dream, I have an extra one. However, this extra one is the one I despise, because it’s super heavy; almost as heavy as a tennis racket o______O No good >______< I called my Dad, but I don't know what happened next because I woke up =______=;;

Good grief… I told my sisters about it, and they were telling me that I should always have a backup like I did in the dream, and always remember to bring my racket. Like duh! Did you seriously think I would forget my racket on the tournament day x_____X enough about the dream…

I’m jumping from topics to topics, so here we go ;) The blog revamp I did did not just involve coding mistakes; I’ve fixed the navigation as well. If you keep staring hard at the avatar on the navigation, something interesting will happen =P (Seriously; no jokes). I removed the radio blog from the top navigation, but I added another page for yours and my enjoyment: Melody. Used radioblog 1.4 so that I can have the scrollbar; those songs are currently the top songs on my playlist, and if you like a specific song, head over to JSound and request it =)

I’ve also added more Athrun Zala claims since I just watched Gundam SEED Destiny again. I just applied today, and not all of them have been approved yet >_____< As for the "currently" thing, I've added Date and Time and updated most of it. The blog buddies section have also been updated; I removed one, since she did not link back, and updated the rest xDDD To finish off the revamping paragraph, I added a few events in the calendar for the next month and the month after.

I was doing my volunteering today at the library, and well… it was not the most fun thing I did. I honestly think last week was much better although my hands nearly fell off in the end. So what happened? Today, we had to do the arts and crafts for the kids program, which involves a lot of cutting and gluing, and so on. I did one, tracing a moose and an eagle. Another volunteer did another one, where she had to trace off the book. I am artistially challenged, and I clearly wrote that on my application form >__________> So we did plenty of cutting, but the glue that the lady gave us was already out. Not fully empty, but it’s solid rock at the bottom of the bottle. I went into the storage room, and found another one. The lid was glued to the body, so nothing came out. At least I thought nothing came out until I felt something sticky oozing out of the top. Yep, you guessed it right, it was the glue. One didn’t work at all, and the other one worked too well. After painstaking work on the artsy stuff, I had to put the magazines away. Well, that wasn’t too hard except that it took me nearly thirty minutes, and I ran an extra 15 minutes late. Good grief… the world needs more than 24 hours to finish all of the work we have. We need more free time…

For those who live in my area (Canada), you know Zellers’ EasyButton advertisement? Yeah, well, every time they start airing the Easy Button ad, I become sad… because there’s only one month left of summer >_____> no more computer 24/7 and no more DDR for 5/7 TT________TT Well, I added more categories for my posts including the new one at the top ;)
