Listening to: Meer Campbell - Quiet NightRawr. The true meaning of Christmas is helping others. Hmm. I spent the weekend volunteering at a mall, and all I did was wrap gifts. It was so much fun :whee: I’ve always wanted to do this since I was little (Yes, I have this obsession of wrapping gifts, but my family never have enough gifts for me to wrap to satisfy me), now I can cross it off of my things to do before I die list. No, I don’t have a list like that. Anyways.

The played the song “Last Christmas” so many times, I am so SICK of the song. I swear, the words are more or less engraved onto the back of my brain forever.

Now onto the gift-wrapping story. The very first gift I did was a Guitar Hero (the guitar) and the game. As I was wrapping this, I was thinking of my sister who has 2 guitars, but only Guitar Hero II (game). She’s been dying for the 3rd one which just recently came out. Well, there some very odd-shaped gifts that nearly killed me. One guy today bought a kitchenware set, and there were 15 in the box. It was down-right heavy, and I had to work on the floor to get it done. One lady came in with 18 boxes of gifts and she wasn’t even done. When I left, she came back with more bags to wrap. Another Dad came in with a massive teddy bear for his wife (the beat was about 4 feet tall). There were a whole bunch of men today, and most of them got the same gift for their “special person”: a purse. One guy bought a Gucci purse ($300), and 2 $250 gift cards for his girlfriend. Lucky girl.

Here’s a list of the most popular type of gifts:

  1. Clothes (Pants, t-shirts, sweaters, cardigans…)
  2. Shoes
  3. Games
  4. CDs
  5. Perfumes
  6. DVDs
  7. Purses

So ummm… what’s the word for that kind of sickness when you lose your voice, and your throat hurts so much you can barely talk?

Funny how this works. When I should be doing homework, here I am, blogging again. On the weekends, while working on a mountain of French homework, I got somewhat bored and lazy (Yes… that happens almost every time you have to translate pages of English paragraph into French.) So anyways, decided to download Opera 9.24… just to see what all the fuss was about  Well, so far so good; it’s mostly like Mozilla Firefox which I currently use, but has a little bit of IE, which I quite detest. On this note, I should probably be a little more open-minded, and try some new things. A good idea right now is to use iTunes instead of Winamp 24/7.

This post will consist of loads of links that I’ve found browsing… they’re pretty fun to look at =)

I was reading this post and by the way you see the picture can determine whether you’re predominantly right or left-brained. It took me a while to see her going counter-clockwise… meh… Clearly I’m predominantly right-brained… and has zero ounce of logic DX

Then I saw this cake! Me wants to make it :melts: <3 It's very detailed =0 More about it here
