Korean Drama-ness

May 12
Posted by: Posted by: Rei Clock 7:37 PM Filed Under: drama, entertainment, i have no life

Watching: The PalaceI am…exhausted :yuck: Just finished a massive essay that was due last Friday, which involved some staying-up-till-twelve nights, and using lunch hours to edit each other’s essay. Yup. Oh the pain :melts: I remember planning to go to bed on Wednesday, then realized I had to format my essay, so I got up and booted up my laptop again. As soon as I was online everyone was like “Are you working on your essay too?” So yeah. It’s done, it’s over, I never want to see it again. I am so sick of my essay  The only cool thing is that I came up with a cool title: The Progression of Conflict in ‘The Things They Carried’. Coming up with titles make me so proud of my essay; my Macbeth essay for example, was titled Ideologies of Gender in Medieval Time. It makes me sound like a genius

My Girl

I just finished watching My Girl, a Korean Drama. It is the best drama I’ve seen so far. Episode 14 was so sad, I cried with Lee Dong Wook  He’s the ultimate hawtness

Lee Dong Wook

Here’s a summary:

Ju Yoo-rin (Lee Da Hae) is an impostor proficient in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Seol Gong Chan (Lee Dong Wook) is the second generation heir of a big corporation. Because of his grandfather’s illness, he’s forced to ask Yoo-rin to be his long-lost cousin so that his grandfather’s last wish can be fulfilled. So therefore, they both are bound in a lie that no-one in the family knows the truth. Kim Sae-hyun (Park Si Yeon) grew up in a rich family and dreams to become a tennis star with the nickname “Sharapova of Korea”. Her charm and intelligence attract many men. She and Yoo-rin have cutthroat competitions. Seo Jeong-woo (Lee Joon Ki) will fall also for Yoo-rin and finally learn to love that special someone.

Ahhhh! I love Lee Da Hae! Her acting is flawless; she can go some a happy-go-lucky girl, to a typical tearful Korean heroine :whoppee: And and… did I mention Lee Dong Wook is hot. Like, really hot? Lee Jun Ki is a little… feminine in the series, but I :hearts: him anyways!

Goong

Okay, so then after that I started watching Goong (AKA The Palace, Princess Hours). Joo Ji Hoon is also the ultimate hawtness of the entire series. I am so hooked, but I can’t finish the series until I return from Ottawa

Joo Ji Hoon

Yul was reading Harry Potter books!!! =0 That made me happy. And apparently there’s a scene with Le Petit Prince and the baobabs in it! :hearts: :hearts:

Anyways. I decided to blog because… I needed to complain. Tore down the kitchen on Saturday because the renovation people are coming on Wednesday, the day I leave. And I’ve pampered up WP a little; added a few plugins, updated the CSS on Saturday. Was studying for French all day today, and am panicking because I still haven’t packed. I need to get my thoughts organized. May be I should start with a list.

Oh where to start?

Okay. How about… shirts, and jeans. That sounds about okay… and food, and flute, and vest.

And… how about stop blogging and study for the French test tomorrow? It’s 8:34PM =/

Hot-damn you just posted this xD I like convenience.

Essays… :dead: I have 3 I have to do… all due on or before next Thursday. So much work!! Normally with titles I like to think of something witty. I don’t particularly remember them, but they’ve had their witticisms in there.

Korean Dramas  I dunno where to watch them LOL. Plus they’d probably be in Korean(maybe? IDK) and I can only speak English :dead: Either way I wouldn’t know where I could get them. I keep hearing how good they are but I have no clue where/how to watch them…

Good luck on your French test!

ah, I remember how it was such a pain writing a massive romeo and juliet essay xD although the teacher didn’t let us make up smart titles like that,

I always procrastinated so I had to stay up pretty late (12 or 1) to finish it and I would be the one bothering people about if they finished yet :dead: then I pretty much end up yelling at them because I was envious they had finish and I was just starting :dead:

Ah, those two series have already been shown here in the Philippines. Girls just had to follow episode per episode. Of course, they were after the leading male characters too. :eyes: I didn’t get to follow their storyline but I think I do remember seeing that guy in “The Princess Hours” reading a Harry Potter book. ‘Twas was the 6th book, if I’m not mistaken?

BTW, good essay titles. I also do things that way. Genius? Oh, yeah. :hyaa:

Lol you sound like you’re in IB.
;( I think our 11′ class were supposed to be write a huge essay too, consistering 24+ pages, but they threw at us so many other projects we can’t, so unfortunately that’s due over the damn summer. Joy!

And yes, titles in essays do sound professional, don’t they? I get lazy, and I think I would’ve called the essay for your Macbeth essay ” Jerks vs Feminists in Macbeth”

Okay, nah, they wouldn’t accept it. xD
